How is MADIGU Baobab oil produced?

The harvest of the fruits from the wild baobab trees begins every year in December. During this time, the ripe baobab fruits are picked or collected from the ground.

The strong, solid outer shell of the baobab fruit is about 2 to 3mm thick. The shells and fibers are separated from the broken fruit by hand and the pulp and seeds are processed further. The inside of the fruit is crushed with a machine; this allows the seeds to be separated from the pulp and cold-pressed. The oil obtained from this is filtered by hand through a very fine fabric and is not treated any further after that.

This means that the natural ingredients are preserved unchanged. This valuable oil is the only raw material in the first MADIGU product.
